Shooting Classes:

Basic Pistol Class $99

  • 3 hour class covering safe handling, GA laws for carrying and self-defense, basic pistol anatomy, safe and secure storage, stance and sight alignment, and grip position.  Eye and ear protection is included, Student must provide 50 rounds of ammunition of choice.  If you do not own a handgun, one will be provided at no additional fee.
  • (Women Only): This class is offered to provide a comfortable environment for ladies to learn how to shoot in a pressure-free environment.

NRA First Step Pistol Orientation Class $89.99
Firearm Instruction Responsibility & Safety Training
The course is a hands-on introductory class designed for new owners and shooters with emphasis on firearm instruction, safety and responsibility for a specific type (revolver, semi-automatic) pistol. The class uses NRA approved training materials and is taught by a certified NRA instructor.

The class is scheduled for 3 hours which includes classroom and range time. Students will learn NRA’s rules for safe handling, basic components of the pistol, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, cleaning the pistol and continued opportunities for skill development. Class size is restricted to four or fewer in a specific action type (revolver, semi-automatic).

Teen Safety Class $89.99
This class focuses on the safe handling of firearms, and is done with .22LR only.  Teens often learn best from an outside source, and a safe foundation is the key to a long and happy relationship with firearms.  A parent must be present on-site during the range portion of the class. (Attendees must be aged 12-18)

New Tactical Classes!

Basic Tactical Combined Arms Target Engagement $150*

Students will participate in class room and live fire range drills to enhance skills in engaging various threat targets. Students will learn the skills knowledge and ability to engage standard defensive response, multiple target, failure drills and hostage taker scenario based targets. Max 8 students per class.

Student Requirements: Tactical semi auto rifle 5.56 – 7.62mm, any semi auto pistol 9mm- 45acp, 100 rounds rifle ammo, 100 rounds pistol ammo, 3 rifle magazines, 3 pistol magazines, eye and ear protection, and optional: magazine pouches, holster.

Basic Tactical Combined Arms Transitions $150*

Students will participate in classroom and live fire range drills to enhance skills in drawing from the holster and using two weapons systems to complete objectives. Students will learn the skills knowledge and ability draw and engage with the pistol, transition to the handgun when the rifle malfunctions or is out of ammunition. Max 5 students per class.

Student Requirements: Tactical semi auto rifle 5.56 – 7.62mm, any semi auto pistol 9mm- 45acp, 50 rounds rifle ammo, 75 rounds pistol ammo, 3 rifle magazines, 3 pistol magazines, holster, rifle sling (single or adjustable two point) eye and ear protection, and optional: magazine pouch.

Basic Tactical Handgun Manipulation $150*

Students will participate in classroom and live fire range drills to enhance skills in speed reloading, malfunction clearing, and tactical target engagement activities. Students will learn the skills knowledge and ability to correct handgun malfunctions and reload efficiently while engaging various treat targets. Max 8 students per class.

Student Requirements: Any semi auto pistol 9mm- 45acp, 100 rounds ammo, 3 pistol magazines, eye and ear protection, and optional: magazine pouches, holster.

*All classes requires students to have at least an intermediate level of familiarity with their personally owned tactical rifle or pistol.

Leagues

GSSF – Glock Sport Shooting Foundation League Matches
GSSF League Match competitions provides opportunities for shooters of all skill levels and experience to compete together in simple, but challenging courses of fire.

The GSSF League Match is a series of three matches conducted over a 3-month period. Participants must be current GSSF members and compete in two of the three matches to qualify for plaques and prizes. If you are not currently a member, you may join on-line or register the night of the match.
Cost: $15 per match
You must compete in 2 of the 3 matches to qualify for prizes which includes a Glock Pistol!

Armed Lady Chapter

Hi-Caliber will be hosting a NEW Premier Shooting Chapter for Women

The Armed Lady Canton, GA Premier Shooting Chapter will welcome women of all experience levels, offering the opportunity to join other women interested in learning more about shooting, self defense and personal protection.armed-lady

Events will be held monthly and open to all women, 18 years or older. For those under 18, additional parental participation and permission will be required . Armed Lady has partnered with Hi-Caliber to be the host range for these monthly events. Monthly events will last two hours, with one hour of educational content followed by one hour of practical range time.
